Our Campus
A Unique and Personalized Experience
Thornton-Donovan's campus is made up of five different buildings, each with its own unique classes and discoveries to make. From the moment you walk in the door, you will notice all of the unique art and artifacts obtained from worldly travels and influential figures.
The Thornton-Donovan education is tailored to students’ interests and talents, aligned with our yearly theme. Small class size makes this approach to learning possible. Encouraging children to become the people they will become, unhindered in exploring their passions, is the key to a Thornton-Donovan education.
Transportation
Please use the following guidelines for drop-off and pick-up procedures at the school.
Residents can utilize the City of New Rochelle school bus service; however, note that enrollment or pass deadlines for the 2026–2027 school year have already passed. Contact the city’s transit office or school office for details on waitlists or late-pass procedures. Visit the City School District of New Rochelle Transportation Department page for more information.
For car and parent drop-off, designated areas are provided, and staff manage traffic during peak times to ensure safety and efficiency.
Rideshare services and taxis are available throughout New Rochelle; consider carpooling with other families to reduce costs and travel time.
Parking
If you're a student who drives, there are plenty of parking options for your vehicle. Available parking is in front of the school and in the school's designated lot.
As you explore our campus, you will discover the beauty of the blossoming flowers in the spring, the colorful trees in the fall, and the snow-covered grounds in the winter.
