Monday, February 10th, at 7 PM, via ZOOM, TD will welcome special guest Sarah Gallagher Trombley to speak about healthy social media use and support for creating rules, understanding social media, managing group texting, and more.
Mrs. Gallagher Trombley is a parenting author, speaker, and thought leader. As a former Snapchat executive, she aims to help parents navigate the digital world with and for their kids by providing insight, advice, and practical tips.
Better understanding of our intentions using technology, evaluating the trade-offs, and being informed on alternatives are essential ways to create healthier tech use now and in the future. We want to encourage you to support the discussion at home. Consider regularly engaging your children on their tech use through questions such as: What role do technology and social media play in your life? What benefits do you get out of using technology outside of schoolwork?
