Teacher Partnership
The Parent-Teacher Partnership (PTP)
invites all Thornton-Donovan parents to be a part of our warm
community, and provides an opportunity to be a part of the growth and
development of the school.

Of all the private schools
Westchester has to offer, Thornton-Donovan offers one of the most
family-like and spirited communities both on and off campus.

Once per quarter, the much anticipated Arts House Cafe night provides an
opportunity for Thornton-Donovan students to showcase a cornucopia of
talents. An evening might include everything from hearing Chopin on the
piano to Rap on the mic, a fashion show of originally designed dresses
to Hip Hop dancing.
Each September, moms and dads reconnect after the summer holiday to
break bread with their children and each other at the "Muffins with Mom"
and "Donuts with Dad" breakfast events.

In early December, the Thornton-Donovan family comes together to
celebrate our spirit of diversity with International Night. Pot-luck
style, each T-D family brings a dish representing their heritage or
country or origin. You might imagine, at Thornton-Donovan, this is quite
a smorgasbord!
The Holiday Luncheon brings our community together in the regal setting
of a local yacht club to celebrate our diverse winter holiday
traditions.
Warmer weather brings the annual Spring Gala: a magical evening of
dinner, dancing, and a lively auction overlooking Long Island Sound.
