THE T-D SUMMER SCHOOL

The T-D Summer School is most unique.  Firstly, class size is limited to a maximum of four pupils.  Secondly, students may take up to four courses.  Thirdly, classes are arranged at the convenience of the learner.  A total of 30 hours of academic work is required to secure credit.

Classes meet Monday through Friday each week.  Each class meets for 90 minutes each day.  Most students prefer early morning times, but afternoon sessions can be provided.

Not all pupils take courses for credit.  Students and Challengers can receive enrichment or remediation on an hourly basis through a prescribed program arranged by the director of the T-D Summer School.  The T-D Summer School is almost exclusively tutorial.

The cost is $40 per hour or $900 for a credit-bearing course.  All teachers are New York State certified.

Parents should use the 2008 application form to register by checking the summer school box and letting school authorities know about desired course work.

Summer school begins July 14th, 2008.

A deposit of $200 per course is required.

Note - TRANSPORTATION IS LIMITED TO SOUTHERN WESTCHESTER ONLY.  Interested families should speak DIRECTLY to the Summer Challenge Director to be sure that buses are picking up in your area before signing up.  Pick-up and drop-off times are based solely on location.  Bus schedules and times can not revolve around parental convenience.  Please do not ask or expect your bus driver to work around your work schedule.  If that is the case, it may be better for you to provide your own transportation.
