WED. Venetians arrive at La Guardia Airport – US Air Flight #2488 at

Airport pick-up and transfer to arrive at T-D between 8:15 – 8:30 PM
Meet T-D Host Family members at T-D

THURS. Breakfast with host family

SEPT. 29TH Arrive at T-D prior to 9:00 AM
Depart T-D at 9:15 AM by bus
10:00 AM – Arrive at St. John the Divine, 1047 Amsterdam Ave.,

Two tours – each one hour:
Architecture: using found and recycled materials to design and build
a model of an original cathedral
Vertical Tour – Climb 124 feet through the spiral staircase to the top
of the cathedral. Study the grand architecture while standing on a
buttress and see a beautiful view of Manhattan.
Lunch across from St. John the Divine at V & T Pizzeria Restaurant,
1024 Amsterdam Ave, NYC 212-666-8051
1:15 PM – Move downtown by bus to Rockefeller Center for a quick
visit to St. Patrick’s Cathedral followed by free time until
3:00 PM – Ascend to the Top of the Rock (50th Street between 5th &
6th Avenues) for the best view of New York City – the skyscraper
capital of the world
4:15 PM – Board bus for return to T-D
5:15 PM – Expected time or arrival back at T-D


FRIDAY, 8:30 AM – Rendezvous at T-D
SEPT. 30TH 9:00 AM – Board bus for a trip to the Big Apple to 1881 Broadway –

10:00 AM – Begin your guided tour in Italian of Lincoln Center of the
Performing Arts. The Center is an iconic landmark and home of the
Metropolitan Opera House – Pavarotti, Baryshnikov, Bernstein,
Fleming, and Bruce Springsteen have all performed there
11:15 AM – 12:30 PM – Free time on own
12:30 PM – Lunch at Fordham University, Main Cafeteria – Fordham
University is the most prominent Jesuit university in America

1:30 PM – Begin your campus tour of Fordham
2:30 PM – Board your T-D bus for a trip into the Bronx to see Ford-
ham’s Rose Hall campus. Your tour guide will either be Harry King,
a T-D alumnus or Monique John, a T-D alumnus. Both are Fordham
University students.
3:30 PM – Back to T-D for 4:00 PM pick up at T-D and return to host
family for dinner


SAT. 9:00 AM arrival at T-D. Depart by school bus for the United States
OCT. 1ST Military Academy at West Point, New York. Explore the campus on
your own.
Receive your ticket to the Tulane vs. Army football game with a 12:00
noon kick-off time.
****All Italian students will receive a boxed lunch****
American students should bring their lunch or bring lunch money.
4:00 PM – Meet in front of the Hotel Thayer on the Army campus.
Walk to the Hotel Lobby.
4:15 PM – Leave the Academy for a short walk to the American Em-
bassy : McDonald’s Restaurant
5:15 PM – Depart McDonald’s for T-D
6:30 – 6:45 PM – Return at T-D for pick-up by host parents

12:00 Noon – Cruise around the sculpture garden and enjoy the out-
door flea market
1:00 PM – Lunch in the Italian-American restaurant across the street

1:45 PM – Depart New York City for Tuckahoe, NY to the Westches-
ter Italian Cultural Center for the Concorso d’Eleganza
1:30 PM – 5:00 PM – Enjoy an exotic & classical Car Show – over 100
Models – Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, and Alpha Romeo
There will be prizes – entertainment – food – drinks – and surprises
5:00 PM – Depart Tuckahoe for New York City to the Daryl Roth
Theatre, 101 East 15th Street
6:00 PM – Have dinner at McDonald’s, opposite the theatre
7:00 PM – Enjoy Fuerza Bruta, Look up!
8:30 PM – Leave theatre and return to T-D
9:15 PM – Host parent pick-up at T-D

MON. Regular arrival time followed by a full day of classes. Time will be set
OCT. 3RD aside to create your own ceramic souvenir at T-D’s Art Studio. Try
any one of T-D’s 20+ theme courses all about Italia.
12:00 Noon – Board bus for Five Guys Burgers, 825 Pelham Parkway,
Pelham, NY – 914-738-3483 – Burgers galore and tour of facility
1:30 PM – Return to T-D for classes
3:00 PM – Regular T-D dismissal


TUES. Departure time as early as possible for 42nd Street in New York City
OCT. 4TH 10:00 AM – Circle Line Three-Hour Cruise, Pier 83 at 42nd Street
See the Empire State, Chrysler Building, the Statue of Liberty, Verra-
zano Bridge, and the Brooklyn Bridge.
1:00 PM – Enjoy your boxed lunch on the Pier
1:30 PM – Board bus for Bronx Botanical Gardens – 40 acres of green
2:00 PM – Check out the Haunted Pumpkin Garden and dozens and
dozens of spooky pumpkin sculptures
2:45 PM – Depart Botanical Gardens to T-D for 3:15 PM pick-up at
T-D


WED. Regular school arrival time by 9:00 AM
OCT. 5TH 9:30 AM – Board bus for the Westchester Italian Cultural Center, 1

Technology, 1855 Broadway at West 61st Street
10:00 AM – Begin your one-hour tour
11:00 AM – Take the subway downtown to explore the World Trade
Center site and Ground Zero Museum
12:00 Noon – Lunch in downtown New York City – Enjoy a boxed
lunch outdoors
12:45 PM – World Trade Center
1:15 PM – Walk to South Street Seaport for free time on own
3:00 PM – Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge
4:00 PM – Meet T-D buses at the Brooklyn Barge & River Café
5:30 PM – Return to T-D for pick up by host families

FRI. Regular arrival time at T-D
OCT. 7TH Attend T-D classes for periods 1 – 4
12:00 Noon – Depart T-D via school bus with grades 6-12 for Bowler-

2:30 PM – Return to T-D for regular 3:00 PM dismissal/pick-up time
