Community Service is required of all upper-school students, and is encouraged at the middle-school level. Thornton-Donovan students have been involved in countless service projects including, among many others, the Salvation Army, HOPE Soup Kitchen, Kevin's Kids (Iraq Project), Habitat for Humanity and the Humane Society. The younger students are exposed to service through the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America which is offered after school.
